She Runs ‘Minnesota Bride.’ See Her Amazing Wedding Flowers.

If you’re a bride, and you live in Minneapolis or the Twin Cities area, heck, the whole state of Minnesota, then you’ve thumbed through the gorgeous pages of Minnesota Bride magazine, edited by Sarah Baumann. As the editor of a wedding magazine, you can imagine she’s seen it all. The most beautiful weddings, the best wedding venues in Minnesota, floral design from hundreds and hundreds of Minnesota florists.

So we were honored ...

... no ...

... that’s not it ...

... we were totally humbled when she and her planning team at Style Architects picked Munster Rose for the floral design.

Let’s take a step back, and see how the editor of Minnesota Bride went about planning floral for her gorgeous wedding.

We first met with Sarah and her planning team at Style Architects months before her big day. We looked at Pinterest Boards and layouts. Fabrics and colors. Sarah talked a lot about the mood and feel she wanted for her florals. Not much else. Sarah really left the flowers to us.

Sarah and her fiance chose to have an intimate event at Aria. Only 150 guests. Aria is a beautiful place to have your wedding, it comfortably seats 500.

The challenge, then, was transforming the spacious venue, into a warm, intimate environment for Sarah and her guests.

With help from Style Architects, we came up with a plan.

  • Design tall centerpiece arrangements to break up the open space
  • Include LOTS of candlelight to warm up the room
  • Use petal-y blooms (lots of garden roses!) to create the romantic vibe Sarah wanted

The result was this gorgeous wedding full of amazing vendors. And a stress-free floral planning experience.
